According to USA Today, on Monday, March 25, Jones added Cuba Gooding Jr. as a defendant in his lawsuit against Diddy. The edit was reportedly made “hours” after Homeland Security Investigations raided Diddy’s homes in Los Angeles and Miami.
NBC News adds that Jones’ amended complaint has been filed in U.S. District Court in Manhattan, New York.
The update reportedly confirms that Gooding Jr. “groped Jones” while on board the music mogul’s yacht. The incident reportedly occurred in the US Virgin Islands in January 2023.
“[Gooding] “He began touching, groping, and fondling Mr. Jones’ legs, the upper part of his thighs near his groin, the small of his back near his buttocks, and his shoulders,” the lawsuit states, according to NBC News. “[Jones] He was very uncomfortable and proceeded to walk away from Mr. Gooding Jr. He refused his advances and Mr Gooding Jr did not stop until Mr Jones forcefully pushed him away.
According to USA Today, Jones’ lawsuit includes a photo of himself alongside the actor. In the photo, the actor allegedly has his arm around Jones. Another photo shows Gooding Jr. and Diddy talking on board the aforementioned yacht.
NBC News reports that representatives for the music mogul did not respond to a request for comment. Additionally, Gooding Jr.’s representatives have yet to respond.
Furthermore, the outlet notes that in 2022, Gooding Jr. pleaded guilty to forcibly touching a nightclub worker in 2018. However, he ultimately did not serve his prison sentence.

As The Shade Room previously reported, Diddy’s homes in Los Angeles and Miami were raided on the afternoon of March 25. TMZ and other outlets are reportedly still awaiting comment from Diddy and his representatives.
During the raid, HSI entered the music mogul’s residences carrying his rifles and spoke to everyone present.
Video footage emerged of the music mogul’s sons, Justin and Christian Combs, being detained.
At this time, not many details have been released about the reason for the raid. However, it has been reported that the search was part of an “ongoing investigation” believed to have been sparked by sex trafficking allegations emerging from New York, according to The Shade Room.

As The Shade Room previously reported, Jones filed the initial lawsuit against Diddy in the federal court for the Southern District of New York in late February. The lawsuit arrived about four months after the music mogul’s ex-girlfriend, Cassandra Ventura, was accused of sexual assault, abuse and trafficking in another lawsuit, according to The Shade Room. Ventura’s lawsuit was also filed in federal court in the Southern District of New York.
Jones alleged that he was also sexually assaulted by Diddy and subjected to “unwanted advances” from associates through Diddy’s “direction.”
Dede was accused of soliciting Jones for sex as well as drugging and raping Jones.
Furthermore, the initial lawsuit stated that Gooding Jr. assaulted Jones as well as Young’s cousin Miami. The rapper’s cousin allegedly assaulted Jones and attempted to have sex with him in front of Diddy and Diddy’s employees.
Finally, the lawsuit accused Diddy of using his son Justin Combs and Stevie J to recruit underage girls and prostitutes to hold sex parties at his residence.
Ultimately, Didi’s lawyer denied the allegations.
According to TMZ, Jones’ initial lawsuit was filed against the music mogul, his son Justin, and “other employees as well as several record executives.”
