For the past 20+ years, they have been Nutrition reading program I have provided a free and easy way to engage students in this worthwhile goal. Another amazing picture book from Heifer International that you can check out free download, Winter in Songming It is the story of young Zadu, a boy living in rural China. One of the best ways to help students understand empathy is to discuss the ways in which we are all alike. This wonderful picture book does that beautifully. Through funny and catchy rhymes, the book explains how superheroes feel sad, frustrated, lonely or afraid.
