Here’s why a Baltimore pastor is so popular
According to Complex, on Tuesday, March 5, Baltimore-based Pastor Mellish E.M. Thomas shared a video of his latest sermon on Xformerly known as Twitter.
In the clip, Pastor Thomas recited the lyrics to Glo’s 2022 hit song “Tomorrow 2.” Additionally, he referred to the rap as “gospel music” and GloRilla as a “new gospel artist.”
“That’s why I love, love, love good gospel music. I love good gospel music, and there’s this new gospel artist. Some of you may know her, some of you may not know her, but her name is Gloria Hallelujah Woods. “Yes, she’s from Memphis. “She’s from Memphis.”
The priest continued:
“Some of you may know her as GloRilla. GloRilla has a song called ‘Tomorrow’ and she makes this statement that blesses me; she says, ‘The sun doesn’t shine every day, but that’s why I love tomorrow,'” Pastor Thomas continued. “And I talk to some people that life It wasn’t the best for you, but you understand what Big Mama used to say all the time: Crying may last for a night, but joy comes in the morning. Every day is not good, but as long as I can get to tomorrow, something can change.
Before he finished his sermon, the priest ordered his flock to turn to their neighbors and say: “Yes, Glo!”

The rapper has recently made headlines herself
Aside from recent inspiring church sermons, GloRilla has also been making headlines. In February, the rapper caused a stir on social media when she announced that she had her eye on basketball player Damian Lillard, in The Shade Room.
At the time, she posted a photo next to him on X, with a brief caption:
“Who’s s***? Because I want him.” #GetEmGlo”
Shortly after, the rapper added:
“Whoever she is can’t yell at me, so I’m really laughing.”
It should be noted that Lillard is currently going through divorce proceedings regarding his two-year marriage to Kayla Lillard, per The Shade Room.
Later that month, Glo shocked fans again when she revealed that she was linked to a popular rapper from Philadelphia.
