WWE Alum Daniel Rodimer has been charged with murder by Las Vegas police

WWE star and congressional candidate Daniel Rodimer He is at the center of a major legal case.

The Las Vegas Police Department confirmed that it has issued an arrest warrant for Rodimer, 45, on a charge of first-degree murder in connection with the death of an Idaho citizen. Christopher Tapp.

Rodimer was “flying to process the arrest warrant” as of the afternoon of March 6, according to a Las Vegas Justice Court document obtained by E! News. The record also notes that the former Republican congressional candidate for Nevada — who had a one-year contract with WWE in 2006 — posted $200,000 bail on the same day, and a reinstatement hearing will be held on April 10.

An original Las Vegas police statement about the open investigation, issued in January, said the victim, Tapp, 47, died after “suffering injuries as a result of an alleged accident” on October 29, 2023. While it was initially classified as a “suspicious death,” Authorities began investigating the incident as a homicide in November.
