Philips Hue partners with Samsung to enhance your TV viewing experience

Philips Hue Samsung SmartThings and Samsung SmartThings are expanding their collaboration to enhance the interaction between the Philips Hue Sync TV app, Samsung TVs and the SmartThings ecosystem. Advanced automation will enable users to create personalized entertainment routines with just the push of a button.

Music mode

A new feature called Music Mode will be introduced in the Philips Hue Sync TV app, allowing compatible 2024 Samsung TVs to listen to music. Sync the lighting with any audio content playing on your TV. This feature will turn your living room into a concert hall, enhancing the audio-visual experience.

The Philips Hue Sync TV app is compatible with Samsung Q60 series or newer QLED TVs manufactured from 2022 onwards. Integration with the SmartThings app and offering monthly subscriptions will begin in spring 2024, along with the launch of Music Mode for compatible 2024 Samsung TVs.
