How long will a Georgia man serve?

A Fulton County jury convicted Jack and sentenced him to 50 years in prison. Furthermore, the person must spend 40 years in prison.

Authorities arrested Curtis on October 16, 2020. He reportedly transported two baby bottles to the child’s grandmother. Jack picked up the containers from the mother. She was still recovering in hospital.

His 18-day-old daughter became “in critical condition.” Therefore, she was transferred to Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta-Scottish Rite Hospital. There, the newborn tested positive for ethylene glycol. This is a chemical found in antifreeze.

How did they find out that Jack poisoned the baby?

In less than 24 hours, the child fell ill. Jack was immediately a suspect. He then admitted to pouring antifreeze into breast milk bottles. Although he later retracted his statement.

He initially confessed to the crime to avoid paying child support, WSB-TV reported.

Jack met the mother of his child at work. The physical relationship between the two began in January 2020, and she became pregnant and he insisted on aborting her. The woman refused. The baby was born in September 2020, South Fulton officials said.
