The Kansas City Chiefs’ defensive backs coach inadvertently made the revelation Travis Kelsey And Taylor Swift They were hanging out on the football field before the “Blank Space” singer made her first public appearance at a Chiefs game in September, confirming the pair’s romance.
“When I started attending, it was in private,” Dave shared during the February 23 episode of the show Sports Shop with Reese and Mac. “She would come to stadiums without people really knowing until the camera put the big spotlight on her.”
And while Taylor previously admitted that the pair were “already a couple” before that fateful matchup on Sept. 24, little did fans know that she had already taken the major step in meeting — and winning the hearts of — the NFL tight end. His teammates.
“She has really impacted the team in a positive way,” Dave gushed. “Everyone was excited because Travis was happy. So when the player, my brother, is happy next to me, it helps and encourages me.”
