How to train your dragon With its rocky terrain, carved statues and huts, Berk Island is poised to be a stunning recreation of the Viking dragon village featured in the DreamWorks movie By the Sea. Leave it to Universal Creative to give us a completely realistic movie world to explore. We’re particularly excited about the animatronic dragons that will be placed throughout the land and attractions – if you’ve encountered dinosaurs in… Jurassic ParkIslands of Adventure or in the queue for the Velocicoaster, these dragons are sure to feel lifelike (but not as scary as we assume).

Additionally, Berk Island will headline three exciting rides: the sailing ship Hiccup’s Wing Gliders; Fyre Drill, an interactive water boat adventure; and Dragon Racer’s Rally, a high-flying ride but suitable for kids. There will also be a show inspired by the wonders of Universal Beijing Resorts’ technological theater untrainable, Retelling the story of Hiccup’s encounter with Toothless.
